Daniel de La Cuesta de Cal

Graduated in Industrial Engineering, specialized in Mechanical Engineering, at Universidade de Vigo (2011), including a six-month stay at Hochschule Karlsruhe (Germany). MSc in Advanced Technologies and Industry Processes (2012) at Universidade de Vigo. Currently working at GTE-UVigo as Full-Time Researcher in the field of CFD simulation of biomass combustion and thermal analysis.

 

Sergio Chapela López

Five year degree in Industrial Engineering, specialized in Mechanical Engineering (2014) by the University of Vigo. MsC Thermal Engineering (2015). Full time research engineer, working fields: CFD simulation of biomass combustion and fouling processes, heat exchanger related cases and PCMs in thermal storage systems. Also working on development of GUI (Graphic User Interface) for CFD models and CAD designer for several fields.  

 

Rubén Martín Ares

Five year degree in Industrial Engineering, specialized both in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering (2015). Full time research engineer, working fields: CFD simulation and modeling development of electrostatic precipitators (ESP).

 

Emilio Villaravid Ares

Both 3-year Technical Industrial Engineering degree, (speciality in Industrial Chemistry, University of Santiago de Compostela 2011) and 5-year Industrial Engineering degree (speciality in Mechanical Engineering, University of Vigo 2014), MsC in Thermal Engineering (University of Vigo, 2015) Research engineer nowadays, active on high-performance energy systems, electrostatic particulate-emission removal prototype development for small-scale biomass combustors and diesel engines. Both CAD designer and manufacturing supervision for different parts on the ongoing research projects. 

 

Barbara Crespo Sanjurjo

Degree in Industrial Engineering, facilities and construction specialty (2011) in the University of Vigo, Spain. Developing experimental research lines focused on the evaluation of the efficiency of PCM (Phase Change Material).

 

Araceli Regueiro Pereira

Degree in Industrial Engineer, Mechanical specialty (2013), MsC in Technologies and Processes in the Automotive Industry (2013), both in the University of Vigo. Enrrolled in the inter-university doctoral program in energy efficiency, sustainability in engineering and architecture. Experimental researcher in the following working fields: renewable energy (biomass), particulate emissions…

 

Victor Couto Ogando

Final year student in Industrial Engineering Degree, Automation and Electronics specialty (2015) in the University of Vigo. Development of electronic systems for data acquisition and automatic control, and support in any specialty field related issues.
